At the bottom of the garden the Groudle River runs into Molly Quirk's National Glen, which is accessed just 30 meters from the house.

In the surrounding vicinity there is beautiful countryside, walkways and the beautiful Clypse Reservoir, offering nature trails and bird watching opportunities.

Mullen Beg is just a 10 minute walk to Onchan Village, with numerous good shops catering for everyone. Douglas Town centre, with all its amenities, is 3 miles from Mullen Beg. Public transport is good and punctual. Buses pass at the top of the road (3 minute walk).
